MS SharePoint - Open a SharePoint Site (ML staff)
Open a SharePoint Site from MS Teams
Open MS Teams and click Teams on the left side of the window. Click the Team name and select the General channel.
Click Files on the right side of the window. Click the More Options button and select Open in SharePoint.
The SharePoint site will open in a new web browser window.
Open a SharePoint Site using Microsoft 365 website
Open a web browser, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge from the shortcut on your desktop or from the Task Bar at the bottom of the window.
Click into the address bar at the top of the window and type in the text microsoft365.com and press enter on the keyboard.
Click Sign in.
Enter your NHSmail or nhs.uk email address and password. You will be signed into your Microsoft 365 account.
To view additional applications, click the App Launcher button in the top left corner of the window.
Click SharePoint.
Type in the name of your team site in the Search box at the top of the window. Click the site name from the list.
The SharePoint site will open in a new tab.
Click Not following on the right side of the window.
The option will change to Following.
The SharePoint site will be displayed under the Following heading when you select SharePoint from the App Launcher in the Microsoft 365 website.
Add SharePoint Site to Bookmarks
Add the SharePoint site to your Bookmarks in your web browser to quickly access the site next time. For this example we are using Google Chrome, click the star at the end of the address bar.
You will be prompted to change the Name if required and select a Folder. Click Done when finished.
Click Other Bookmarks in the top right of the Google Chrome window and the Bookmark will have been added to the bottom of the list.
If Other Bookmarks is not displayed, click the 3 dots in the top right of the window and select Bookmarks from the list.
Move across to Other Bookmarks and select the SharePoint site from the list.
