Cervical Screening Management System
Are you preparing for the new Cervical Screening Management System? Our Guide Cervical Screening Management System explains all you need to be ready including the latest updates:
- Check your access - carry out a check to confirm if you can access CSMS.

UPDATED GUIDE - Emis Web - Getting Ready for Prospective Patient Record Access
Our Emis Web - Getting Ready for Prospective Patient Record Access has been updated to reflect all the new Redaction of data options available throughout Emis that hides data from online access for those bits of data that are sensitive.
Docman / Prospective Record Access Update
We've reproduced the communications from Advanced regarding their progress on the problem of patients not being able to see Docman documents, even when reviewed in Docman.

SharePoint
SharePoint Site Administration – updated guides
We have updated the SharePoint Site administration guides. For more information please access the SharePoint Site Administrator Guide on the MLCSU Academy.
Sharing options changed – SharePoint
The sharing options for files and folders has been changed on SharePoint. These options may not be available for some users as Microsoft are currently rolling out the change.

NHS App - Updates
Our NHS App Guide on the Academy Portal is available and updated regularly with new guides, videos and info as we get it.
With funding highlighted in the March Budget and a direct mention of NHS App usage, it is the perfect opportunity to encourage more of your patients to use the App.
The latest update is some Walk Through videos which show you how to navigate the NHS App and use its services.
MLCSU – Ava Chatbot
MLCSU have recently gone live with a new chatbot (AVA) for raising IT incidents and requests. This is to offer more self-help and instant solutions to problems rather than having to log calls and wait. The link to the chatbot is - MLCSU AVA Chatbot
This link has been made available to you all on your desktops. It will also very shortly be included on the self-service portal.
We encourage you all to utilise this tool for less urgent IT requests and issues. For more information please access the MLCSU Ava Chatbot article
Accessibility
Accessibility for public sector websites, intranets and shared documents
Following government legislation, public sector organisations have a duty to ensure all content that they produce meets government outlined accessibility criteria. This includes all websites, intranets and apps as well as PDF’s. MS Office documents, images, web pages and videos.
Who is it for?
Everything we produce and share should be accessible to all. This includes people with impairments to their:
- Vision – like severely sight impaired (blind), slight impaired (partially sighted or colour blind people (screen reader)
- Mobility – like those who find it difficult to use a mouse or keyboard (shortcut keys)
- Hearing – like people who are deaf or hard of hearing (use of sign language or closed captions, subtitles)
- Thinking and understanding – like people with dyslexia, autism or learning difficulties (easy read format, text written in pain English)
